Which doorways do we choose to open in our beings?
What energies and qualities do we choose to open to in life?
Clarity on which gateways we want to open also entails clarity on which gateways we are wise to close. Clear boundaries and clear “yes’s” and “no’s” are crucial in this being human.
We become more and more conscious, sovereign temple keepers of our own souls and body-minds.
When we open the spirit gates in ceremonial space, we welcome in love, beauty, wisdom, healing, truth, magic, pachamama… all that is good and life-giving. To me, that’s what this song is about.
In this rendition, I had the blessing of collaborating with my dear friend DTO.
DTO is gifted at artfully weaving electronic elements into acoustic music, so he was a perfect match for this vision! Definitely check out some of his other gorgeous pieces and collaborations!
For the acoustic music lovers out there, I do have a string-based version of this song coming out in the near future. I play guitar and charango, Chad Wilkins plays lead guitar and Ari Langer plays violin on this version as well, but all of these are more prominently featured in the extended, acoustic version. Stay tuned for that one!
In the meantime, I hope you delight and groove to this piece, as you contemplate what divine energies you are opening your heart and soul gateways to.
